Die Bäckerei Kulturbackstube

In 2022 and 2023, I worked at Die Bäckerei Kulturbackstube as a EuSC volunteer, then did freelance event management and performative work there throughout 2024.

Die Bäckerei is an open space, cultural centre and events venue in Innsbruck, Austria. 

Founded in 2012 it has become a staple on the cultural map of the city and Tirol in general.

My work at the centre varied, but most of my contributions revolve around:

• Event organisation

• Promotion & social media management

• Photography and videography of various events

• Hospitality work for various artists

• Hosting events 

• In 2024 I developed the concept for a Writer's Open Mic together with the Die Backerei team and organised as well as hosted the monthly event ( https://diebaeckerei.at/programm/2024-05-09-die-baeckerei-writers-open-mic)
